You probably already know it, but its large dimensions, with a length of more than 3 kilometres, together with its unbeatable width, maintaining the finest and cleanest sand along its entire length, make it unique in the whole of the Iberian Peninsula. It is a modern beach, with all its infrastructures and services active during most of the year. Thus, the beach is cleaned 365 days a year and has the most advanced police surveillance services together with a lifeguard service from March to November.

This recognition is awarded to beaches with sustainable tourism, with the best environmental quality, the best services and which guarantee the greatest safety for their users. The residential MarPlus is located in the best residential area of Gandia, next to the beach of Gandia, just 12 minutes walk from the Grao de Gandia, the most active and lively area of the beach that has, among others, the headquarters of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, the port and the fish market or the Nautical Club. That is why it is one of the main districts and with more services of Gandia.

Currently, the remodeling of the Avenida del Grao is being completed. By means of this avenue you will be able to go both walking and cycling, relaxed, from your new townhouse in MarPlus to the beach of Gandia. We show above an infographic of how this promenade will look like. It will be equipped with a green area of trees that will act as a green barrier to road traffic. Thus, a wide section with new urban furniture is projected to make the wide promenade area independent from the bike lane itself. These works are nearing completion.

Marjal
The marsh of Gandía occupies around 450,000m2, more than a third of the total surface of the marsh area in the region. It is a wetland area developed in a plain or depression next to the coast. The water comes from subway sources, which come to the surface through springs (ullals), natural sources that bring the aquifers into contact with the surface. In Gandia, the Ullal Gran or Ullal de l'Estany stands out next to l'Alqueria del Duc and the interpretation center Marjal de Gandia. The Ullal Gran is an idyllic place that is literally a stroll away from the MarPlus Residential.

5. For its history, monuments and culture

The history of Gandia stands out for its importance and links with the Borja family. During its Duchy, the city lived its most splendid period, leaving a great cultural legacy. This fact is evidenced by the fact that Gandia already had a University since 1549, founded by San Francisco de Borja himself, IV Duke of Gandia, for the Society of Jesus. In addition to Saint Francis, the Borgia family left its mark with two Popes, Alexander VI and Calixtus III. Their court was a major part of the golden century of Valencian literature, with no less than Ausias March o Joan Martorell. We recommend this wonderful Borgia Route to learn more about the history of Gandia.
